I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where I began my informal studies as a visual artist at a young age. My grandfather was an amateur photographer and avid lover of the arts. He had a study in his home with hundreds of books on classical painting, printmaking, sculpture and photography that I would I would spend hours reading whenever my parents dropped my brother and I off for an evening to be looked after. This early exposure to the the arts is what I attribute my own development into a creative as I became a teenager.

I graduated from the Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts where I had focused on painting and sculpture and went on to study design at the Kansas City Art Institute and University of North Texas. During my time at KCAI I was introduced to film photography for the first time and immediately fell in love with spending hours in the darkroom.

I moved to San Diego to work for adidas Golf in business management while continuing to photograph as a hobby. In 2015 I decided to start taking my photography more seriously, and to push my abilities to the point where I would be able to do it for a living. I made the leap of faith in 2016, quitting my job at adidas and starting work as a full time architectural photographer.

Although my primary focus is shooting architectural and design photography, I also work in fine art, portrait, and landscape. I have had the honor of being recognized by expertise.com as one of the top real estate photographers in San Diego County for seven consecutive years.

I live in Leucadia, California with my wife Andrea, and our two cats Cozmo and Iverson.
